Weddings in Morris Chapel
Wedding Officiant
Couples are responsible for arranging for a minister or other qualified person to officiate at their wedding. The minister will need to bring any necessary ceremonial supplies (chalices, altar clothes, etc.) to the wedding and should plan to attend the rehearsal. It will be the responsibility of the couple to compensate the officiant of their choice. If needed a list of priests and ministers can be obtained from the Chapel office.
Choosing Music for Your Wedding
Morris Chapel maintains a list of area musicians and vocalists. Any arrangements you make for musicians is separate from the fee you pay for use of Morris Chapel. Alternatively, we can provide music at an additional cost, either live or recorded. Our Sound Technician can assist you with recorded music, and is available to assist musicians and vocalists, for a fee of $125.00. No outside audio equipment is permitted. For more information, contact the Chapel staff.
Wedding Coordinator
A chapel wedding coordinator will guide you through the rehearsal and the wedding with the information obtained at the planning meeting. Their professional skills include the knowledge of wedding etiquette, procedures for the bridal processional and recessional, and a working relationship with our vendors. They will assist in any last minute needs and seating of honored guests.
